Key Changes to Catch-Up Contributions Under SECURE 2.0
Starting January 1, 2026, important changes to your retirement plan catch-up contributions take effect.
What This Means For You
- If you're 50+ and contribute catch-ups, your take-home pay may decrease slightly starting January.
- No action needed — changes apply automatically to your deferral elections.
- Consider reviewing your overall retirement strategy with a financial advisor.
